Letter: Paying it forward succeeds
Saturday, May 12, 2012
Reading the May 7 Columbian story “Coming full circle: Ex-shelter resident repays kindness” brought tears to my eyes. How refreshing to read good news for a change, because every time I read the paper or put the news on, someone is being killed, raped, shot at, and abused. Stories such as this one give me hope for the world. Kudos go out to Sonja McKenzie for her hard work and diligence in attaining funding to help support Share Orchards Inn. Kindness is something we see too little of these days.
