ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — Detroit Lions defensive back Chris Greenwood is trying to make quite a jump.

Drafted in the fifth round out of Albion College, Greenwood has been at rookie minicamp with his hometown team. Greenwood is from the Detroit area and went to Martin Luther King High School. He says it’s a big adjustment, going from Division III to an NFL camp, but it’s an important experience for the 6-foot-1, 193-pound Greenwood.

Detroit struggled on defense toward the end of last season. The Lions used three draft picks on defensive backs and another three on linebackers.

Coach Jim Schwartz says Greenwood has fit right in with everyone else at camp and is trying to learn.
