Rested Spurs relieved to finally know next foe

SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- Six days later, the San Antonio Spurs finally have an opponent for the second round of the playoffs.
The top-seeded Spurs will play the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday in the Western Conference semifinals. The Clippers upset the Grizzlies in Game 7 on Sunday to advance for just the third time in franchise history.
San Antonio hasn't played since Monday after sweeping Utah. It's been the longest break for the Spurs all season, and coach Gregg Popovich said Sunday he's relieved that he no longer has to scout two teams at once.
Popovich says the Spurs spent the week emphasizing conditioning and not losing the rhythm built during their 14-game winning streak.
For the Clippers, on the other hand, Game 1 will be their sixth game in 11 days.
