Wash. woman found in ditch may be hit-run victim

BATTLE GROUND, Wash. (AP) -- Police in Battle Ground, Wash., are investigating the death of a 22-year-old woman as a hit-and-run.
Tatyana Tupikova was found in a ditch along state Highway 503 in Battle Ground by a passer-by on Friday. Her friends had reported her missing Thursday.
The Clark County Medical Examiner's Office ruled Saturday that she died from head and neck trauma, and the manner of her death was an accident.
The Columbian newspaper reports (http://bit.ly/LFqM8N ) detectives are seeking witnesses who might have seen any suspicious activity.
