GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) — Rep. Peter DeFazio has won the Democratic primary in the 4th Congressional District, where he was challenged by the son of the Republican making a second run for the same seat.

With 57 percent of the vote tallied Tuesday night, DeFazio had 90 percent, to 10 percent for Matthew Robinson, a 26-year-old nuclear engineering student at Oregon State University who is the youngest child of Republican Art Robinson. Matthew Robinson changed his party affiliation to run against DeFazio, who has served 13 terms.
