VENICE, Italy (AP) — Team Korea and Energy won the first two fleet races on the opening day of the America’s Cup World Series off Venice on Thursday as series leader Oracle Spithill struggled.

Skippered by Nathan Outteridge, Team Korea edged Artemis Racing in the first race before Loick Peyron led Energy to a come-from-behind win.

Oracle Spithill led by one point coming into the round after the opening four regattas — in Cascais, Portugal; Plymouth, England; San Diego; and Naples, Italy — but could manage only eighth and fourth.

Second-placed Emirates also underperformed, coming in sixth and third.

The Venice leg ends on Sunday.
