Wylie tapped for joint higher education panel

State Rep. Sharon Wylie, D-Vancouver, has been appointed to the Joint Higher Education Committee in the Legislature. The committee will suggest changes in higher education policy and review the new, nine-member Student Achievement Council.
The joint committee was created through Senate Bill 2483, which also replaced the Higher Education Coordinating Board with the new Student Achievement Council.
