VANCOUVER — Developers of the 192nd Plaza South commercial real estate project have purchased a 1.5-acre site on the southeast corner of Southeast 192nd Avenue and 20th Street in east Vancouver.

The $1.26 million property is planned for a mixed-use retail and office project that will extend an existing commercial project called 192nd Plaza.

The developers, Dean Kirkland and Tom Files of Columbia Pacific Leasing and Income Properties, also expect to break ground this fall on Westridge Lofts, a $22 million retail, apartment and hotel complex approved by the city’s development department in April. The 4.5-acre complex will be south of the recently purchased 1.5-acre site.

Vancouver brokers Terry Phillips and Mike Merrill of The Phillips Group Inc. represented the seller, To Help Hope LLC, in the transaction. The LLC is registered to Regina Covington of Camas.
