People and heavy equipment share the CEMEX Fisher Quarry at Southeast Brady Road and 192nd Avenue in east Vancouver on Saturday, the first day of the Nutter Foundation's annual Dozer Day event. The event, which gives children the chance to operate construction equipment, crawl through pipes and make concrete crafts, continues from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $7-$10, $5-8 for seniors and children, with cash recommended. More information is available at http://dozerday.org
