I-5 Bridge closure set for tonight
Repairs to southbound span planned

The southbound span of the Interstate Bridge will close at 11 p.m. Sunday while ODOT crews complete counterweight repairs that began early Sunday morning. The bridge is scheduled to re-open before the Monday morning commute. Southbound traffic may take SR 14 east to Interstate 205 and cross into Oregon on the Glenn Jackson Bridge. Until the repairs are completed, the bridge will remain closed to river traffic that needs the span to be raised.
