CHICAGO (AP) — U.S. national team coach Jurgen Klinsmann has added 11 players to the initial squad of 16 for training ahead of an exhibiaton game against Scotland, including Landon Donovan.
The Americans, who begin World Cup qualifying June 8, will have a 23-man roster for the Scotland game.
Among those added Sunday are World Cup veterans Clarence Goodson and Oguchi Onyewu on defense, plus Donovan, Herculez Gomez and Jozy Altidore at forward.
The other additions are defenders Geoff Cameron and Michael Parkhurst, midfielder Graham Zus, and forward Juan Agudelo, Terrence Boyd and Chris Wondolowski.
