SEATTLE (AP) — The King County sheriff’s office says a suspect in last week’s fatal shooting in the city of Shoreline turned himself in.
King County Jail records show 20-year-old Joseph D. Cooley was booked early Monday on a second-degree murder charge. He’s held on $2 million bail.
Cooley was charged Friday in Wednesday’s shooting that killed 17-year-old Tiana Montgomery and wounded 18-year-old Darrold Edwards in an apartment parking lot.
KIRO-TV reports Edwards has improved to satisfactory condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
