Man killed in collision near Gig Harbor

GIG HARBOR, Wash. (AP) -- The Washington State Patrol says a 52-year-old man from Lakebay was killed when his car crossed the centerline and collided head-on Monday with a car on Highway 302 at Purdy Spit, north of Gig Harbor.
A car driven by a 54-year-old Port Orchard woman went over an embankment but landed short of the water. She was taken to a hospital.
