TACOMA, Wash. (AP) -- The toll on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge goes up July 1.
The state Transportation Commission voted Monday for the first toll increase in four years for the Highway 16 link between Tacoma and Gig Harbor.
The News Tribune reports (http://is.gd/oT47MP) electronic Good to Go tolls rise to $4 from $2.75, cash tolls to $5 from $4 and pay-by-mail tolls to $6 from $5.50.
Tolls are paying off the financing for the 5-year-old bridge, and that's expected to take another 19 years.
