Forecast: W. Washington sunny; E. Washington windy

SEATTLE (AP) -- The National Weather Service says the Memorial Day weekend is beginning sunny in Western Washington and windy in Eastern Washington.
Forecasters say highs could reach the mid-70s Saturday in Western Washington, but clouds bring cooler temperatures and the chance of showers Sunday and Monday.
Forecasters say it will be windy through Saturday in the Inland Northwest, then partly cloudy with a chance of rain shows through Memorial Day.
