Marysville mom sentenced for wreck that killed son



EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — A Marysville woman was sentenced Wednesday in Everett to more than two years in prison for the crash that killed her 7-year-old son.

Kortnie Forbes entered a guilty plea in March, agreeing that a jury would likely find her guilty of vehicular homicide in the September 2010 crash near Arlington that killed Isayah Forbes. Prosecutors said she was driving drunk.

The Daily Herald reports ( ) two children that survived the crash were removed from the home by Child Protective Services.
