• Ben Dennis of Vancouver, a long-time board member of the Washington State Council Federation of Fly Fishers, has been named westside (Bellingham to Vancouver) conservation director of the national nonprofit organization which is dedicated to conservation, education and restoration of the state's streams and rivers for the benefit of fish and aquatic life. Dennis will work with the Federation's westside affiliate fly-fishing clubs.

• Linus Araque of Camas has been named a financial representative for Country Financial and will serve clients out of the Vancouver office, 16821 S.E. McGillivray Blvd. Araque recently completed the organization's training on insurance solutions for financial security. Araque earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Washington State University Vancouver in 2011.

• Columbia Credit Union has announced two senior level promotions to its management team: William D. Fulk and Lindsey Salvestrin. Fulk will serve as executive vice president/chief operating officer and will oversee day-to-day credit union operations and manage the credit union's loan portfolio. Salvestrin's duties will include coordinating corporate projects credit union-wide and directing all aspects of member service, training and support services as a senior vice president/service delivery-project management.

• Financial services firm Edward Jones was named the Advisory Solutions Firm of the Year by the Money Management Institute. Andy Nygard, a local Edward Jones financial advisor, said the company most exemplified overall excellence and contributed to the long-term success and sustainability of the wealth management industry.
