LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — Defender Oguchi Onyewu and forward Herculez Gomez were in the starting lineup for the United States’ exhibition game against Brazil on Wednesday night in place of Geoff Cameron and Terrence Boyd.

The rest of the American lineup was unchanged from Saturday’s 5-1 win over Scotland, with Tim Howard in goal, Steve Cherundolo at right back, captain Carlos Bocanegra in central defense, Fabian Johnson at left back, Michael Bradley, Jermaine Jones and Maurice Edu in midfield, and Landon Donovan and Jose Torres at forward.

Forward Clint Dempsey, recovered from a groin injury, was on the bench along with Boyd, defenders Clarence Goodson, Michael Parkhurst and Edgar Castillo, and midfielder Kyle Beckerman.
