TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona’s return to prominence never came together last season.

The Wildcats appear to be back on course this year.

Arizona never lived up to expectations last season, missing the NCAA tournament after being derailed by injuries and suspensions.

This year’s team also has high expectations, but has a better shot at living up to those behind another stellar recruiting class by coach Sean Miller and a talented core of returning players.

Forward Kevin Parrom and point guard Jordin Mayes are both healthy again, and senior Solomon Hill gets to move back to his natural position of small forward after Miller added four of the best incoming big men.

Arizona’s best addition may be Mark Lyons, a quick, heady point guard who transferred after graduating from Xavier.
