CINCINNATI (AP) — Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick is active for the first time this season, ready to make his NFL debut against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Kirkpatrick hasn’t played because of a knee injury suffered over the summer. The first-round pick hadn’t been active for any game so far.

Brandon Tate starts at receiver in place of Armon Binns, who missed the last game with an injured ankle that has been improving.

Cornerback Tracy Porter misses his third game for the Broncos while doctors try to adjust his medication to control his seizures. Chris Harris starts in his place.

Receiver Andre Caldwell also is inactive for the Broncos, missing a chance to play against his former team.
