KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Chiefs quarterback Brady Quinn has not been cleared for contact following his concussion and will miss his second straight start Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Matt Cassel will start in Quinn’s place. Cassel was the starter the first five games of the season before sustaining a concussion and then losing the job during the bye week.

Quinn was hurt early in the Chiefs’ loss to Oakland on Oct. 28. He missed Thursday night’s game at San Diego, when Kansas City dropped to 1-7 with its fifth straight loss.

The former first-round draft pick returned to Kansas City late Tuesday after being advised by neurologists that he should avoid contact. Quinn has been cleared to take part in light workouts during the individual portion of practices.
