FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas hopes to keep the pressure off quarterback Tyler Wilson this week.
Wilson was pressured throughout a 19-15 win over Tulsa last week, leaving fans in Razorback Stadium gasping after each shot. The senior missed a game and a half earlier this season with a concussion, and his health is critical to Arkansas’ hopes of reaching a bowl game.
The Razorbacks (4-5, 2-3 Southeastern Conference) travel Saturday to face No. 12 South Carolina, which leads the SEC in quarterback sacks with 30.
The Gamecocks (7-2, 5-2) are led by defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who is 11th nationally with 8.5 sacks.
