NAMI hosts run, walk, bike event

Local advocates for the mentally ill will gather in the Vancouver Heights to run, walk and bike for the National Alliance on Mental Illness -- Clark County.
Organizers will collect donations from participants to benefit the local NAMI group. The event begins at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at NAMI Clark County board member Ann Donnelly’s house, 4305 Oregon Drive, adjacent to Southcliff Neighborhood Park.
Runners and walkers can pick from suggested routes ranging from 3 to 6 miles. Bikers can choose routes ranging from 6 to 20 miles.
Event organizers will serve breakfast to participants from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
