WSUV Extension offering class on raising wine grapes

Washington State University Clark County Extension is offering a class for rural landowners interested in raising wine grapes on rural acreage or having a vineyard established by a farm contractor. Viticulture specialists will be on hand to explain all facets of production.

The class includes a tour and wine sampling at Gouger Cellars in Vancouver and a wine-making demonstration. The class meets at the Heritage Farm, 1919 N.E. 78th St., Vancouver, and runs from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Dec. 1. The fee is $20. Sign up online at https://ocrs.wsu.edu/Signup/?eventid=868.
