Snaer, Florida State beat Buffalo 95-68

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Michael Snaer scored 16 of his 19 points in the second half as Florida State recovered from a season-opening loss to rout Buffalo 95-68 on Monday night.

Okaro White had 13 points — on 5-of-5 shooting — and Aaron Thomas added 10 points for the Seminoles (1-1).

The Seminoles shot 59.6 percent (34 of 57) from the floor and converted 55.6 percent (10 of 18) of their three-pointers.

Tony Watson and Javon McCrea each had 17 points for Buffalo (0-2).

The Bulls shot 50 percent (27 of 54) for the game.

White had 10 first-half points as Florida State grabbed a 47-30 lead at the break. The Seminoles shot 17 of 27 (63 percent) from the floor in the first half.

Florida State also had 17 assists, nearly doubling its output from the first game. The Seminoles managed just nine assists in the loss to South Alabama.
