Fall tradition goes for the gourd
Ridgefield — Neighbors, friends and families helped Kara Breuer with her eight-year tradition of hanging pumpkins and gourds from trees in her front yard.

Ridgefield — In early October, Kara Breuer continued her eight-year tradition of decorating the large tree in front of her house for the fall season. Neighbors, friends and their families joined Breuer to paint pumpkins and gourds and hang them from branches of the tree in her front yard. The decorating event concluded with refreshments.
