INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Walt Lemon Jr. scored 19 points and Tyshon Pickett had 18 points and 10 rebounds, leading unbeaten Bradley to a 79-72 victory over IUPUI on Saturday night.

Jake Eastman chipped in 17 points on 8-of-12 shooting for the Braves (3-0), who went on an 8-1 run with 2:51 remaining to turn a 65-65 tie into a 73-66 lead, then hit enough free throws in the final minute to secure the win.

John Hart scored a career-high 26 points, including four 3-pointers, off the bench for the Jaguars (2-2), and Greg Rice and Mitchell Patton added 15 apiece. Donovan Gibbs had a team-high eight rebounds.

IUPUI led 34-30 after a back-and-forth first half. After halftime, neither team managed more than a six-point advantage before Bradley’s late run.

The game was only the third ever between the schools, and the first since the 2001-02 season.
