KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has left Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a neck injury sustained while trying to make a leaping grab in the first half.

Bowe was being covered on a deep pass down the sideline when he leaped up, bobbled the ball and then landed hard on the turf at Arrowhead Stadium. He was checked by several trainers on the bench, retreated to the locker room and then re-emerged without his helmet.

The Chiefs called his return questionable.

Kansas City is already playing without wide receiver Jon Baldwin, who wasn’t cleared after sustaining a head and neck injury in last Monday night’s loss at Pittsburgh.

Terrance Copper replaced Bowe. Steve Breaston was playing in place of Baldwin.
