ATLANTA (AP) — Wide receiver Julio Jones is active but the Atlanta Falcons are without linebacker Sean Weatherspoon for the third straight week against Arizona.

Arizona defensive end Calais Campbell was inactive Sunday because of a calf injury. David Carter is the fill-in starter.

Jones sprained his right ankle in last week’s loss at New Orleans and missed practice this week. With coach Mike Smith watching closely, Jones tested the ankle by running routes and catching passes about 2 1/2 hours before the game.

Weatherspoon also was held out of practice this week as he continues to recover from a sprained right ankle.

The Cardinals also are without quarterback Kevin Kolb (ribs) and tight end Todd Heap (knee). Kolb has been out since hurting his ribs against Buffalo on Oct. 14.
