OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Starting forward Caron Butler will miss the Los Angeles Clippers’ game against the Oklahoma City Thunder because of a strained right shoulder.

Coach Vinny Del Negro said before the game that Matt Barnes will start in place of Butler, who was hurt in Los Angeles’ 92-87 victory at San Antonio on Monday night.

Butler is considered day-to-day.

The Clippers continue a four-game trip with games Friday at Brooklyn and Saturday at Atlanta.
