Bethune-Cookman beats Nebraska-Omaha 93-81

VALPARAISO, Ind. (AP) — Adrien Coleman scored 31 points to lead Bethune-Cookman to a 93-81 victory over Nebraska-Omaha on Friday in the Joe Cipriano Nebraska Classic.

Coleman was 12 of 18 from the field and grabbed 13 rebounds.

Paul Scotland scored 18 points for the Wildcats (2-3). Malik Jackson added 12. Kevin Dukes had 10 assists.

The Wildcats led 43-36 at halftime in a game that saw 12 lead changes.

Marcus Tyus had 17 points for Nebraska-Omaha (1-5). John Karhoff had 16 and Justin Simmons added 15. Alex Phillips had 11. Alex Welhouse grabbed seven rebounds.

Bethune-Cookman will now play the winner of Chicago State vs. Valparaiso.
