Texas-Pan American beats SIU Edwardsville 77-66

EDINBURG, Texas (AP) -- Aaron Urbanus scored 15 points to lead Texas-Pan American to a 77-66 victory over Southern Illinois-Edwardsville on Saturday in the home opener at the UTPA Fieldhouse.
Urbanus was 4 for 11 from the floor.
Ruben Cabrera scored 13 points, and DeMarko Nash, who was 3 of 4 from 3-point range, added 10 points. Justin Leathers made six rebounds for the Broncos (2-5)
Texas-Pan American led 37-26 at halftime and shot 49 percent from the field for the game. The Cougars (1-3) shot 44 percent.
Kris Davis led SIU-Edwardsville with 24 points, shooting 4 of 6 from 3-point range. Mark Yelovich had 11 points and eight rebounds.
