One hurt when two SUVs collide in Vancouver

One person was hurt Thursday when two SUVs collided at the intersection of Northeast 137th Avenue and Padden Parkway, according to the Vancouver Fire Department.

The crash was reported at 9:15 p.m., according to emergency dispatch logs.

Vancouver Fire Department Capt. Kevin Murray said one SUV had five passengers; the other had one.

Murray said one person suffered injuries that were not life threatening and was transported to a local hospital.

The crash was being investigated by the Vancouver Police Department and Washington State Patrol.
