Volunteers are needed for four trail work projects this month in Trapper Creek Wilderness, at Cape Horn and on the south side of Mount St. Helens.

The Washington Trails Association will work on Thursday at Cape Horn repairing a muddy section of the popular trail east of Washougal.

WTA plans work Saturday and Sunday in Trapper Creek Wilderness north of Carson.

On Oct. 11, WTA will continue work on the Cape Horn trail and on Oct. 20-21 work will resume on building a new route from Ape Cave to a viewpoint of Mount St. Helens.

No experience is needed. WTA provides tools and instructions.
