Atlantic 10 basketball agrees to new TV deals

NEW YORK (AP) — The Atlantic 10 has reached an agreement NBC Sports on a new nine-year deal to televise men’s and women’s basketball games on the NBC Sports Network.

The A-10 also announced a long-term deal to extend its partnership with the CBS Sports Network. The length of that contract was not released.

Under the deal with NBC, the NBC Sports Network will televise six game during the upcoming season, then 25 regular-season basketball men’s games, three women’s games and the quarterfinals of each Atlantic 10 Tournament from 2013-21.

CBS Sports Network will air at least 25 men’s games and eight women’s games annually, along with the semifinals of each conference tournament.

The terms of neither deal were disclosed.
