Ridgefield to host open house on sewer initiatives

An open house meeting next week will focus on a set of initiatives that will affect sewer service in the city of Ridgefield.
At the meeting, city officials will discuss three changes in the works: the formation of a new sewer management partnership in north Clark County, the transfer of Ridgefield's sewer collection system to the Clark Regional Wastewater District, and construction of a new sewer transmission line.
The open house invites residents to learn more about those plans, according to the city.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, in the Ridgefield Community Center, 210 N. Main Ave.
