Crushing glorious grapes

You can celebrate the process of making wine during Crush Fest at Heisen House Vineyards, featuring a tour of the winemaking process, with grape crushing beginning at 2 p.m. along with musical performances, demonstrations, arts and crafts, vintage car show, wine tastings, and children’s activities throughout the day.

The power of music

The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra opens its 34th season with special guest performances by Portland organist Jonas Nordwall, violinist Nitai Zori and his brother cellist Hillel Zori. The performance will be recorded, with the performance being shown on big screens surrounding the stage for close-ups of the musicians.
