Letter: Romney’s theme fades quickly

In his Sept. 25 column, “Redistribution an old policy that leaves us all poor,” Thomas Sowell elaborates on the wealth redistribution policies of Joseph Stalin and Fidel Castro.

How about a more relevant example?

I would cite that America’s red states, on average, receive more federal spending than blue states do with respect to federal tax contributions on an individual, state-by-state, basis.

Is this not redistribution of wealth?

Who are the freeloaders now?

It doesn’t comport very well with Mitt Romney’s new theme about makers vs. moochers.

He’ll not likely address this pattern of behavior even once while on the campaign trail.
