Supporters of the Humane Society for Southwest Washington gathered Saturday for a benefit dinner and auction at the Hilton Vancouver Washington.
The Make a Difference event includes a silent auction, dinner and live auction. Proceeds benefit Clark County’s largest shelter for homeless and abused animals. Last year’s event raised $500,000.
The Humane Society relies on donations to cover a majority of its expenses.
