LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon is inactive with a sore right foot for Washington’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Garcon missed two games before returning to action a week ago.

Also out for Washington is safety Brandon Meriweather, who re-injured his left knee in a pregame collision last week with receiver Aldrick Robinson.

Running back Ryan Grant is active Sunday, the first time he’s on the game-day roster for the Redskins since signing as a free agent last month after five years with the Green Bay Packers.

The Falcons are missing fullback Lousaka Polite for the second consecutive game. He is nursing a sore hamstring; Jason Snelling is expected to start in Polite’s place.
