Hazel Dell homicide investigation still under way

Detectives are continuing their investigation into the death of Matthew M. Clark, 43.
Clark was found dead in an east Hazel Dell home the morning of Oct. 1 and died of an apparent gunshot wound, according to the sheriff's office. The case is being investigated as a homicide.
Detectives are still following up on leads, Sgt. Fred Neiman, sheriff's spokesman, said Tuesday.
"(There's) nothing more to release at this time," Neiman said.
