BOSTON (AP) — Boston College coach Jerry York says he isn’t obsessed with the chance to win back-to-back NCAA titles, even though it’s one of the few holes in his resume.

The college hockey season begins in earnest this weekend, with the Eagles among the favorites to make it all the way to the Frozen Four in Pittsburgh. BC is ranked No. 1 in one of the major preseason polls, with Minnesota topping the other.

BC begins its season on Saturday night in pursuit of its sixth national championship. York’s won four, but he says he’s not concerned about proving the Eagles can win back-to-back.

The coach says it’s all about moving forward.

BC players say there’s been no talk about winning two in a row. But when the players got their championship rings last week, the freshmen were there to watch.
