Conference to discuss Mount Adams plants, wildlife

TROUT LAKE — Registration is open through Oct. 24 for the second annual “Flora and Fauna of Mount Adams’’ conference here beginning at 9 a.m. Nov. 3.

Organized by the Friends of Mount Adams, the event at Trout Lake School will continue until 4 p.m. The registration fee is $25 per person. Day-of-conference registration is $35 payable by cash or check at the door.

Among the speakers will be Darryl Lloyd on “Historical Perspectives and the Changing Environment of Mount Adams’’ and Jim Stephenson and Gabriel Swan on “Mount Goat Ecology, Use Patterns and Management on the East Side of Mount Adams.’’
