CLEVELAND (AP) -- The agent for Scott Fujita had no comment on a report that the Cleveland Browns linebacker has a possible career-ending neck injury.
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported that both the Browns and Fujita fear his playing days could be over.
Agent Don Yee would not confirm the report. Fujita, who has spent the past seven months trying to clear his name after being accused of taking part in the Saints' bounty scandal, was inactive for Sunday's game against Cincinnati.
The 33-year-old showed up on the Browns' injury report last week, when he sharply criticized NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell's handling of the New Orleans situation. Fujita's three-game suspension was reduced to one by Goodell.
Fujita did not immediately return texts messages or emails seeking comment.
Fujita spent four seasons with New Orleans before signing as a free agent with Cleveland in 2010.
