Child screenings offered Oct. 19 in Ridgefield

Ridgefield — Child development screenings for children 3-5 years who have not entered kindergarten will be offered to residents of the Ridgefield School District on Oct. 19.
Children will be screened in speech and language, and cognitive and motor development. Appointments are required. Results are confidential and are discussed with parents. Parents who have a developmental concern about their child are encouraged to call 360-750-7500, ext. 242.
