Clark County seeks board member with no cats, dogs

Clark County is looking for a resident who owns neither cats nor dogs to apply for a vacant position on the Animal Protection and Control Advisory Board.

The 10-member board makes recommendations on the Clark County and Vancouver animal code, acts as an appeal hearing tribunal for animal disputes and perform other duties as directed by Clark County commissioners.

The board meets on a quarterly basis at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month.

Applications must be received by 5 p.m. Nov. 2. Applications can be mailed to Animal Protection and Control, P.O. Box 9810, Vancouver, WA 98666-9810, or delivered to the animal control offices on the third floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.
