A Vancouver truck driver was injured Tuesday morning when his big rig hit a large boulder on Highway 11 near Weston, Ore., and rolled onto its side, according to a bulletin from Oregon State Police.

Howard E. Seager, 56, was driving a 2006 Peterbilt truck pulling a trailer in the right lane near Milepost 22 when it struck a boulder measuring about two feet across. Seager lost control of the truck, which veered off the highway, collided into a rock wall and rolled onto its left side, the bulletin said.

Seager was transported by ambulance to St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla for non-life-threatening injuries. He was not listed in the patient directory Tuesday night. Seager was driving for Systems Services of America.

The highway was partially blocked for 90 minutes as Oregon police, East Umatilla County Rural Fire Protection District and the Oregon Department of Transportation worked at the scene.
