Leadership Clark County honors outstanding alumnus

La Center — Troy Van Dinter of La Center has been named the 2012 Outstanding Alumnus by Leadership Clark County. Each year, LCC recognizes one graduate from its more than 535 alumni for outstanding volunteer service and community leadership.

A lifelong Clark County resident, Van Dinter serves on the board for the Northwest Association of Blind Athletes and on the Parks Foundation finance committee. He appeared as “Fred Flintstone” in the recent Glamorous Gams fundraiser for the Children’s Center. The award was presented to Van Dinter on Oct. 16.
