TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott says DirecTV officials “have dug in their heels” and he sees no reason for optimism that the satellite provider will add the new Pac-12 networks to their service.

Scott, speaking at halftime of the Arizona State-Oregon football game Thursday night, says it is frustrating that DirecTV is not accepting the same terms everyone else has.

At least, Scott says, fans have two other options, the Dish Network satellite provider or a major cable service. Scott accuses DirecTV of not listening to its customers.

He says fans will miss the upcoming heart of the conference football season, then the basketball games that follow.

DirecTV has said it wants to add the Pac-12 networks but at an affordable price.
