Michael Knox scored four fourth-quarter touchdowns — and added a 2-point conversion — as the Spudders pulled away for the Class 2A GSHL victory.

Knox finished with 170 yards on 17 carries and five second-half touchdowns.

Bouncing back from a league loss to Mark Morris the previous week, Ridgefield (6-2, 3-1) got a rushing TD from Clayton Farr in the first minute of the game. R.A. Long answered for a 7-6 lead by the end of the first quarter, but TDs by Farr and Matt Cushwa gave the Spudders a 22-13 halftime lead.

Carrying a 28-13 advantage into the fourth quarter, Ridgefield broke loose.
